A Little Spring Cleaning

I didn't get a lot of sewing done this week, but I did do a lot of cleaning in my sewing loft. Gone are three bags of trash and three bags of fabric (being donated to a group that sews quilts for the vets). I am so happy with my new clean sewing space. Next week I am planning on getting some serious sewing done. I have a market tote all cut and ready to go.

To say it has been too long since my last post would be more than an understatement. I am hoping maybe now that I finally got my iPhone it may make things a little easier.  At least easier to snap quick pictures and hopefully get them posted.

I have made dozens of things since my last post but this bag was the last item I finished. It is the Reversable Bag from Very Purple Person. I made mine a little bigger and used Anna Maria Horner's Buoyancy for the outside and a Moda Crossweave on the inside. It came out a great size for a quick trip to the market or fabric store.

LAMQG Mini Quilt Swap

Well it has been far too long again! I have trying to spend less time on the computer and more time enjoying life. But I wanted to share the mini quilt I made for the LAMQG Mini Quilt swap. It measures 15" square. I have a full size version that I am starting to quilt today. I will share it when I am done. The pattern is from A Quilt is Nice Blogspot.
